The Armoury Store 4

Hong Kong, China SAR 2014

Having worked with The Armoury on the previous three stores, the challenge of this store was to integrate their partners The Whisky Library into the store without taking away from both brand’s unique identity. We designed large smoked glass sliding doors to separate the two shops giving privacy but allowing them to merge as one when needed. To visually join the two stores, the signature tiles of The Whisky Library was introduced as a door entrance mat in The Armoury while walnut wood clads The Whisky Library. Located in the basement of The Landmark, we utilized a Barrisol LED Ceiling to mimic natural light from outside. The skylight provides even white light for customers to accurately visualize colours and textures of suiting fabrics for their bespoked garments. Located next to the coffee shop Fuel, we integrated a standing coffee counter on the façade so customers can enjoy their cup-of-Joe while window shopping.
