Hong Kong, China SAR     2017

The new two stories flagship showroom of Lamborghini Hong Kong located on Star Street precinct's challenge was to follow the company's corporate identity on the ground floor level and design a similar but different showroom and lounge area on the upper level as well as a back of house office. The ground floor design is according to the requirements of Automobili Lamborghini but the second floor was designed to draw parallel to the lower level yet have its own character as an extended showroom, event space, lounge and bar space. Using a similar colour palette but adding matte black wooden floors to create a warmer atmosphere, custom furniture pieces with Lamborghini's hexagonal motif, custom lighting and a matte black corian bar counter in the lounge area, we created a cozy yet modern environment that aligned with this supercar's identity. The upper level space works as an event space for sneak previews, car launches, corporate events and VIP lounge area. The showroom's simple yet sleek design helps to enhance the Star Street precinct as a low key, posh and niche design area in Hong Kong.
