Kingford Link Office

Hong Kong, China SAR     2017

The headquarters of a corporate Chinese company, Kingford Link's design can be described as an east meets west contemporary and minimal interior space. Our design team drew inspiration from traditional Chinese and contemporary Western designs. For example, the circular door handle of the boardroom echos that of a traditional Chinese entrance handle as well as symbolizes the shape of a coin. Aligning with Feng Shui, our design is based on an open plan office with peripheral private offices. An open pantry with a slotted wood partition allows employees to take breaks with a semi private area that encourages a more positive working environment and open communication. The monocromatic colors and warm material palette create a bright and cozy ambience to balance the interior comfort level establishing a more efficient working environement.
